Latin American and Caribbean Network for Food Security and Sustainable Development

For more than five years know the Group to Promote Education and Sustainable Development, AC, Grupedsac, an institution committed to its mission, working for eighteen years in a serious, professional and dedicated to benefiting the communities in poverty .

Grupedsac institution is integral and founder of the Latin American and Caribbean Network for Food Security and Sustainable Development, RedLayc and participates in it prominently. In RedLayc, contributed by example to the creation and development of Learning Centers and Knowledge Exchange, CAIS, which are already in nine countries in Latin America and the Caribbean as a means to spread that Grupedsac has ecotecnias experienced and successful recycling after year, between the impoverished rural population.

The undersigned Ruben Lopez Cano have been one of the thousands of people took, in the early nineties a course of three months, on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on education and sustainable development. After that date, my commitment to the environment, the rural population and the development of alternative technologies has been fully, both in the professional aspect, and personally, conducting home capturing rainwater source separation of solid waste composting and vermicompost and use of solar heater. Even I have to process and sell dehydrated food.

I'm sure I was not the only one who Grupedsac has changed the way of seeing life and hope that this effort will be recognized as one of the institutions of extensive work and impact on society, in a sector which is also the most vulnerable of our country: the indigenous population.
