Who we are

GRUPEDSAC (Grupo para Promover la Educacion y el Desarrollo Sustentable, A.C.), is a Civil Association, concerned with the dignified and sustainable welfare of Mexican land and sustainable development of the country; non-profit, legally recognised, authorized to give tax deductable receipts to its donors and registered with the Registro Federal de las Organizaciones Civiles, No. CLUNI GPE9001090901A.

What do we do?

We provide training and development of the skills necessary for use of environmentally friendly alternative technologies, the correct application of which enable substantial increases in self-sufficiency of water, food, shelter and energy.

Where do we do it?

Directly in the communities and through our two Centres for Training and Demonstration of alternative technologies and solutions for rural poverty, models for training and understanding of sustainability.

In GRUPEDSAC we believe that in order to overcome poverty, we ought to offer people the tools to enable them to develop in an integral way. We must offer options of technologies that enable them to satisfy their needs, lessen their dependence on foreign producers, help them to take control of their developmental activities and that are environmentally friendly. All of these are reinforced by strategies to improve their management capabilities and their economic conditions.
